I just have to tell you that one of my MOST favorite things of the whole year is when people send Christmas cards. It delights me to no end to see colorful envelopes, handwritten addresses, and shapes of cards that clearly don’t contain bills! And for a whole month, I find myself nearly giddy to get the mail each day. A Christmas card reconnects me to people from all different phases of my life. I see high school friends in incredible places, college friends with their children, families who have had impact on my life, and even organizations that we have been honored to partner with throughout the previous year. I also love to send Christmas cards because I sort of figure that maybe other people feel the same way.
Last year I was so slammed that I printed our cards though and ran out of time to send them! Which also has me fearing greatly that people will take me off of their card lists thinking that I have taken them off of mine! PLEASE STILL SEND ME CARDS! It was an off year!!! I even love the card ritual so much that I send them to people that sometimes I only hear from at Christmas card time every year. But still…the connection…I just adore it.
And because they make me so intensely happy, I plaster them on a wall all together where I can see them for the entire season. It reminds me of happy memories and also it reminds me just to be praying for all of these people who have made a stamp on my life.
A few years back I saw a picture for a vintage-styled camp that inspired me like nobody’s business. And for probably 4 years I’ve had it in my mind to recreate some version of the picture I’d originally seen. Since we moved this year it seemed like the perfect time to be “Gearing Up for Adventure”…
So here’s where you come in. I need your help! Which picture to choose because I can’t put them all! I’ll probably manage 3 on the whole card and most likely will do one of the whole family and then a single of each of my boys. Also I’m trying to think of something short and catchy to say that will allow me to share our new address as well as let people know about the adventures we have coming up this year (my book release in March, as well as the Kilimanjaro climb that I’m doing with One Million Thumbprints!)
Here are the choices (I’d love your opinions), and if you leave a catchy saying that I choose to use on the card, I’ll mail you a jar of my MOST FAVORITE jam from my friend Vicki who you can check out at MessMakerBaker! You guys, her jam is UNREAL! I’ll even let you choose between my all-time favorite Blackberry Caramel or her new Christmas Preserves that has pear, cranberries, and ginger.
Ok…so here are my Christmas Card picture choices!!! Don’t forget to comment with a catchy saying for your chance to win some yummy jam!
I’d love to have this settled by Friday Nov 27th! So leave me your favorite pic and if you want to win the jam, toss in a clever caption in the comments below!

I think pictures A & E would look great on a christmas card! I love receiving Christmas cards from people that have a group shot plus a shot of their kids interacting! And you guys look too great with all the colors going on in the picture to change it to black and white! “Merry Christmas from the Wolfram-ily” <–that's literally the best I could come up with 🙂

I love the ones of the boys being brothers even if I can’t see their full face. It’s the love shown (C & E).
Although I prefer color for Christmas cards I feel like A doesn’t show me your boys bright personalities, a little staged when I ask my kids to smile. So with that I love G or H.

Blazing new trails in 2016! I think H captures your personalities, and I love the color shots of the boys, but not sure how the would look together. These are all so fun!!
